❊ FAQ

Spanish Immersion At Todo Corazón

Hear It. Experience It. Use It.

At Todo Corazón, Spanish is more than a lesson, it’s naturally woven into your child’s everyday experience. Through songs, stories, play, classroom routines, and conversations, children hear and use Spanish in meaningful, age-appropriate ways throughout their day.

Why spanish immersion?

Spanish is naturally incorporated throughout the child's day rather than being treated as a separate subject. Children encounter Spanish through songs, stories, play, classroom routines, greetings, conversations, and everyday activities. This gives children repeated opportunities to hear and use Spanish in meaningful situations.

How Does Spanish Immersion Work?

Spanish immersion can give children opportunities to develop language awareness, communication skills, confidence, and an appreciation for different languages and cultures. Most importantly, we want children to experience Spanish as something fun, natural, and meaningful.

Early Childhood Is an Important Language-Learning Window

Research from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of English Language Acquisition notes that the early-care years are an important period for children to develop both English and another language. High-quality early childhood education can support children's transition to school as well as long-term social and cognitive development.

What Are the Benefits?

Early childhood is a perfect time to introduce children to another language. Regular exposure to Spanish allows children to become familiar with new sounds, words, and ways of communicating while naturally developing curiosity and appreciation for another language and culture.
